Description: Children will learn that financial literacy and hip hop dance are super powers! This day camp enriches kids with confidence, focus,coordination, and financial terms through Hip Hop moves! Includes Arts & Crafts.
We understand that financial literacy can seem boring for kids but by combining hip hop dance moves with financial terms, it helps the student learn the terms and empowers them with education beyond their years while having fun! (they may even teach mom or dad a thing or two!;) PLEASE NOTE: This camp partial proceeds including shirts and masks will be benefitting Project SMASH a 501c3 organization providing dance to heal programs for shelters, children homes, rehabilitation centers, and dance scholarships for kids less priviledged. Kids are learning for great causes!
ATTIRE: Day 1 & 2 dress as your favorite super hero! Day 3 Kids will be part of a mini showcase and wear their Project SMASH Dance to Heal shirt and mask. (can be purchase on day 1 or day 2 of camp directly to instructor.) 1.Project SMASH tshirt $25 mandatory 2. Project SMASH masks $10 optional. NO OPEN TOE SHOES. Sneakers only, hair pulled back away from face.
Please have your child bring a water bottle and light healthy lunch.
DROP OFF TIME: 10:15am-10:30am (no earlier and please be on time before 10:30am)
PICK UP TIME: 1:30pm ($5 fee for every 5 minutes late after 1:35pm)
CAMP TIMELINE: (subject to change)
10:15am-10:30am Drop Off
10:30am-11am: Ice Breaker. Go over Rules. Name Game. Stretch. Learn 2 Financial Terms per day
11am-11:30am: Fun Basic Super Hero Obstacle Course
11:30am-12pm: Arts & Crafts
12pm-12:30pm: Lunch then Playtime
12:30pm-1:15pm: Learn Super Hero Hiphop dance and Fun cypher free style circle
1:15pm-1:30pm: Super Hereos Movie Times and/or Super Hero games
